The Olympic flame landed at San Francisco airport at 3:40 am local time yesterday morning (April 8th) or 18:40 Beijing time for the sixth stopover of its global journey to be held on April 9th.

A Marked Turn for the Better in Public Order in Dengfeng Road

Chinese shares edged up 0.36 percent yesterday (April 8th) as the market went through corrections in the afternoon session caused by profit taking. The benchmark Shanghai Composite Index on the Shanghai Stock Exchange seesawed around 3,600 points during the day and finally went above the mark to close at 3,612, up 12 points, reporting gains for the third consecutive trading day.
