Beijing Olympic Flame Arrives in Jakarta, Indonesia
The sacred flame of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games arrived in the Indonesian capital of Jakarta early on Tuesday for the 14th leg of its global torch relay.

Traffic Control to be Implemented in Guangzhou
Traffic control will be implemented on several Guangzhou roads, including Dongfengzhong lu and Jiefang bei lu. The traffic control will start from 4 p.m. tomorrow (April 23rd) and continue through the next day in order to maintain safe traffic conditions during an important event to be held in the area.

Tianhe Sports Center to Undergo Repairs
The Tianhe Sports Center is expected to experience large-scale repairs this year. Preparation for the 2010 Asian Games, the repairs will address the major sports venue, including the basketball court, badminton court and swimming pool.

An Environmentally-Friendly Bag to Make its Debut
An environmentally-friendly bag woven with jute will make its debut in supermarkets. The bag can be recycled and costs 10 yuan each. China will ban the use of plastic bags starting June 1st.
