Chinese Shares Closes Below 2000
Chinese shares dropped sharply this morning (October 10). The Benchmark Shanghai Composite Index fell by 3.81% in the morning trading, closing at 1995 points, while the Shenzhen Component Index dropped by 5.44% to close at 6390 points.

Psychological Health of Sufferers of Quake-hit Sichuan Become a Concern
The psychological health of victims from the Sichuan earthquake has once again become a top concern, due to today's 17th World Mental Health Day. Guangdong Health Department has been carrying out psychological lectures and voluntary treatment to help Sichuanese students studying now in Guangdong. Our reporter Zhu Yuzi has more details:

It has been half a year since the disastrous earthquake happened. A suicide case in Beichuan, one of the most hard-hit areas has aroused great concern about people's psychological health. The head of Guangdong's mental research institute, Jia Fujun, stressed that long-term psychological aid is very important:
"6 months after a major catastrophy is usually a peak time for the outbreak of psychological problems. We must provide relief aid in time. "
Jia also emphasized that the aid should focus on preventing depression.  

Taxis Ready to Serve Canton Fair
Guangzhou traffic commission is gearing up for the upcoming Canton Fair, which will open next Wednesday (October 15). During the fair period, 3000 to 4000 taxis will be mobilized to pick up passengers everyday. And they will be needed, as up to 100,000 attendants are expected to visit the fair per day.
