Paralympic Torch Relay held in Nanjing and Qingdao
The Paralympic Torch Relay concluded its journey in Nanjing and Qingdao this morning (September 2). Nanjing was the fourth stop on the "Ancient China" route of the Paralympic Torch Relay, while Qingdao was the fourth on the "Modern China" line. The flame will continue its tour of "Modern China" in Dalian tomorrow.

Over 6,300 Media Workers Apply for Accreditation
The first press conference of the Main Press Conference for the Beijing Paralympic Games was held this morning (September 2), introducing media services for the Games. As of yesterday, over 6,300 media workers requested accreditation. Sha Wanquan, director of MPC Venue Operation Team, said all requirements for the Games are in account. Designs are to meet full compliance with accessibility specification.
More Tickets Go on Sale
Beijing Paralympic tickets are available through their primary source at the ticketing website (www.tickets.beijing2008.cn) starting today (September 2). They include tickets for competitions in the Bird's Nest and the Water Cube. In addition, over 30 Bank of China outlets have been authorized to sell tickets in Beijing and Qingdao. At the final stage of ticketing, you can purchase tickets at most venue booths where Paralympic competitions are held.
