Paralympics Torch Relay Concluded in Dalian
The last torchbearer reached Forest Park to light the cauldron this morning, marking the end of the Dalian leg of the Torch Relay. Dalian was the last stop on the "Modern China" route of the Beijing 2008 Paralympic Torch Relay. A total of 70 torchbearers took part in the relay, which covered 3.8 kilometers. The Relay will continue on Thursday in Luoyang, the fifth and final stop on the "Ancient China" route.

MPC Opens for 2008 Paralympic Games
The Main Press Center opened in Beijing on Tuesday for the 13th Paralympic Games. It is the first time that the Paralympic Games will use the Olympic MPC and at the same time provides facilities and services with the same criteria and standard of those used for the Olympic Games. The MPC for the Paralympic Games is committed to offering a professional information service, work support and a residential service, with additional services specially provided for people with special needs.
Hong Kong Ready for Paralympic Equestrian Events
A senior official of the Hong Kong said yesterday, Hong Kong's preparatory work for the Paralympic Games Equestrian Events have been completed. A record-breaking 73 athletes and 71 horses from 28 countries and regions will participate in nine events, including Peng Yulian of China's team and Nelson Yip for the China Hong Kong team.
